For You - Elegant Birthday

I used Amber's Viva La Verve (VLVFeb02) sketch to make a birthday card. Her sketches always have a "twist" to them - this time it was a challenge to use no designer or patterned paper. This card will go to my girlfriend, Lori, who is celebrating her birthday next week with a big bash thrown by her DH. It should be a lot of fun!

To add a little pattern and texture to my card, I stamped the flourish border from Grateful Elegance and dry embossed dots onto the black circle (though you probably can't see them). I kept my embellishments to a minimum as my goal was for a simple, elegant card. Thanks for looking!
