For my project today, I made a scrapbook layout. My daughter, Sabrina, just celebrated her 13th birthday a couple of weeks ago, so I made this to document the big event. I started with a sheet of 12" x 12" white cardstock and used the You're My Hero full sized stamp set. I used Strawberry Milkshake and Lollipop Premium Dye Inks to randomly stamp the stars and splotches. To keep with the messy look, I sprayed on some gold Sheer Shimmer Spritz. I added my photo and hand wrote my journaling around the photo.
For the title, I messy stamped "You Rock!" several times using Oreo Premium Hybrid Ink. To finish this simple layout, I added 3 wood veneer stars to create a visual triangle around my photo. Here's a detail shot:
I had a chance to play with the ink pads for the past week or so, and I'm really impressed with how well they stamp. The color goes on vibrant with good coverage. I have more projects using the inks that I'll show you next week during June release week.
