Watercolor Cards

Hello! I'm popping in with some watercolor cards that I made for a friend. She requested these and since I had a little time this week, I decided that I could make them for her. Here are all of them together.

I started with some pre-printed panels from 3x4 Watercolor Panels - Uplifting and 3x4 Watercolor Panels - Keep in Touch, making sure that I chose ones with no sentiments since I wanted to add my own. These are so fun to watercolor! Each panel was watercolored with Zig Clean Color Brush markers and a Pentel Aquash water brush. Each sentiment was created with the Mini Caps Alpha & #'s dies. I ran each letter through my Xyron (using repositionable adhesive), then I added the sentiments onto a die cut flag from Pockets & Pages - Stitched Essentials. Once I was happy with the placement of the letters, I stitched through them then carefully removed any excess adhesive with an eraser.

Each design is similar, though I had to move the sentiments around depending on the design of the panel. I used different embossing folders for the backgrounds. This first one is a re-work of one of my release projects. I removed the die cut thanks and created my own sentiment so that it would match the others. This one uses the Braided Embossing Folder. The other 5 are new creations... :)
