Today I made a couple of cards to give to Bella's (our dog) groomer when she comes back from maternity leave. She just recently had twin girls, and I thought these would be perfect for them. The first one uses Daughter of the King. I stamped the verse onto watercolor paper over a messy wash I created with Gansai Tambi watercolors. To tone down the patterned paper, I added a sheet of vellum over before adding messy stitching.
Both cards were simply finished off using Mini Bloomers, die cut out of Aqua Mist felt and faux wood cardstock. To complete the embellishment, I added a Doodlebug enamel heart.
