Taylored Expressions April Sneak Peeks: Where Your Heart Speaks, Stroke of Genius & A Life She Loved

Hello! Welcome to the first day of Taylored Expressions April Sneak Peeks! We are releasing 10 new stamp sets and 9 new dies! All products will be released tomorrow @ 7 AM PST.

Today I have a couple of projects to show you. The first is an altered Kaisercraft Beyond the Page Photo Display. I started by painting it with chalkboard paint. It features Where Your Heart Speaks. Then, I filled each of the 6 frames:

The first frame is a filler card that I created. The sentiment was embossed with white embossing powder onto dark grey cardstock. Next, I randomly stamped the round paint stroke with Versamark Watermark. Stitching and a resin heart finish it off. The second card uses the negative cut from Pockets & Pages - 3x4 XOXO, which happens to fit perfectly inside the frame. I added a family photo taken at Zion National Park last fall, some stitching and 2 wood veneer hearts.

The next frame features our last name spelled out using the Whimsy Alpha and stitched onto a Label Stacklets 8 die cut. The flowers are from Silhouette Stems 4.

The third section once again has 2 smaller frames. For the first one, I simply added a photo of Sabrina, wood veneer heart, and my favorite sentiment from Wherever You Go. The second one is an embossed image from Where Your Heart Speaks. I added sequins to the center of the flowers and another sentiment from the same set.

The final frame features a larger family photo and another sentiment from Where Your Heart Speaks.

My next project is a card featuring Stroke of Genius (paint strokes) and A Life She Loved (sentiment).

I stamped one of the paint strokes in a rainbow of colors. The sentiment was stamped in black, die cut with Tag Stacklets 2, then popped up with foam tape. Sequins and stitching finish of the card. Here's a detail shot:
