Taylored Expressions October Sneak Peeks: Baby, It's Cold Outside & Sack It Snowman

Hello! Welcome to the first day of Taylored Expressions October Sneak Peeks! Today the Baker's Dozen kicks off 4 days of projects (2 days of peeks, release day and spotlight day). We are featuring 3 new stamp sets: Christmas Doodles, Baby, It's Cold Outside, and Big Bold Christmas and ALL the new dies. All products will be released on Thursday, October 3, @ 7 AM PST.

Before I get to my projects, we are welcoming a new guest designer for October and November. The talented Pattie Goldman is joining us for the next 2 months. You will definitely be inspired by her TE creations! Welcome, Pattie!

My first card features Baby, It's Cold Outside and the Snowflake Cutting Plate.

The snowman image was stamped, colored and fussy cut, then popped up on the circle behind him. The Snowflake Cutting Plate was embossed (rather than cut) on the first circle, then matted onto another circle. Here's a detail shot:

My next card features Sack It Snowman and coordinating Tag Pocket Die. Sack It Snowman is one of 3 new dies that can be used on its own or with the Sack It to You with Bonus Santa Die to create a little gift sack. It can also be used with the new Tag Pocket Die (which coordinates with the previously released Tag Stacklets 1) as I've used it here.

The Tag Pocket Die was cut out of Antique White felt. The snowman's hat and facial features were also cut out of felt (TE Red Hot and TE Black Licorice, plus an orange felt for the carrot nose). Everything was stitched together, leaving the pocket open for a gift card (which slips into the pocket and under the hat). A tag was created with the smallest tag from Tag Stacklets 1 and a sentiment from Baby, It's Cold Outside. Here's a detail shot:
