Taylored Expressions August Sneak Peeks: A Classy View & Love Teaching

Today I am previewing two new school-themed stamp sets. These are both very timely as school starts up next week for Brina. They are also right up my alley as I love to make gifts for her teachers, aides and therapists. First up is a couple of tags that I made using A Classy View. This is a back to school follow up to our previously released window stamps & dies. There are two images in this set - one inside the classroom and one of the outside view (bus + school house)... I couldn't decide which I liked better, so I used both!


I colored the images with Copic markers and paired them with the Picture Window die. The base of these tags was created with the largest Banner Stacklets 2 die. Here's a look at each individual tag.


The teacher's desk scene was paired with one of the sentiments. I also added a red felt push pin (using the From the Desk of die).


The bus/school house scene was paired with another one of the sentiments. I also added a red felt asterisk (again using the From the Desk of die).

The next two cards were created using the new Love Teaching stamp. The first one was stamped onto (and matted with) one of the new Label Stacklets 4 dies (coordinates with the previously released From the Heart Frame die).


After I created the card above, I remembered that the stamp also coordinates with the new Blackboard & Accessories die, so I decided to make another card creating a blackboard. Included is the framed blackboard and the chalk and eraser elements. I had these Maya Road wooden rulers for awhile, and this seemed liked the perfect project to use one of them.
