The Share Joy campaign is an invitation to celebrate the joy of card making and to share that joy with others. The gift of a handmade card can bring a smile to anyone’s face, and we want to bring as many smiles as we can to the faces of people around the world! Please join us in creating and sending handmade cards that will make a difference in the lives of others. This is just the beginning and we will be donating the cards to various charities as time goes on. This first batch of cards will be sent to hospital chaplains throughout the U.S.
This is the card that I originally made for the campaign. I used one of the sentiments from the Happy Heart stamp set. As I was typing up my post, I realized that my card does not qualify for the campaign, so I will be making a new one soon. I belatedly realized that only A2 cards are accepted (mine is 5" square)... doh! So that you don't make the same error that I did, you'll want to visit the TE store page for all the details... :)
Special opportunity: Would you like to have your name and your card featured on the TE Store homepage? We will be selecting a few of our favorite cards created with TE stamps and/or dies to appear in our home page slide show.
Since I began making cards several years ago, I have found that friends and family are very appreciative of receiving a handmade card. Because I always have a stash of cards, I find that it is a simple way to bring a smile to someone's face. In this day and age of email and social networking sites, it's often a pleasant surprise to receive happy snail mail... :)
