Taylored Expressions April Sneak Peek: Made in the Shade & A Glimpse Inside

Hello! Welcome to the Taylored Expressions April Sneak Peek Day One! We are releasing 8 new stamp sets, 8 new dies and a new cutting plate... I know you are going to love it all!

I have a couple of cards to show you today. My first one uses Made in the Shade and the Shade Tree Cutting Plate.

Made in the Shade is a full-sized stamp set and can be used with or without the cutting plate. I stamped the farm scene, colored it, then I added the cutting plate over it. I cut the cutting plate out twice, once with the wood grain patterned paper, then a second time from the green polka dot paper. I hand cut the leaves and added them to the tree to make it look more realistic. Finally, I tied some hemp cord around the tree trunk and added my sentiment (from Many Minis - Occasions) onto a tag from the Designer Mini Tags set.


My second card uses A Glimpse Inside, a full-size window-themed stamp set which follows From My Window, which was a very popular release from last month. I framed the vase of tulips with the new Picture Window die, which is shown here on its own, but there are several other coordinating die options being released this month.
