Hello! Welcome to the Taylored Expressions Stamp of the Month (debut) Blog Hop! You might already be familiar with the TE Key Ingredients, well now Taylor is adding a TE SOTM (which will coordinate with the Key Ingredients. You will have the option to subscribe to either one or a combined Deluxe Key Ingredients which includes both! Here is a link to the new US SOTM option. Also, more details can be found on Taylor's blog.
Since the March Stamp of the Month and the March Key Ingredients are a match made in heaven, I used them both to create a few tags. The March SOTM includes a 4" x 6" red rubber stamp set, Make it Memorable. It also coordinate with the March KI, which includes patterned paper from the My Mind's Eye Collectable - Memorable collection, coordinating cardstock and ribbon.
Here's a look at all 3 tags. As you can see, the stamp images are beautiful, and there's a little something for everyone. You can opt to color the flower or use the solid stamp. And look at the detail on that butterfly, gorgeous, no? I heat embossed the butterfly with chocolate brown embossing powder.
The base of my tags was made using the largest die in Banner Stacklets 2. I trimmed it down a little to make it the size that I wanted it to be. I like my tags to be sturdy, so I cut my base out with chipboard and then cut another piece with patterned paper. I added stitching and distressing to the patterned paper before adhering it to the chipboard base so that you can't see the backside of the stitching. I used Jen's Deconstructed Sketch #92 for my tags.
As you can see, I added a lot of layers. I used Label Stacklets 3 and the Layering Doily Die - Medium, plus 2 sizes of Spellbinders circles. The label at the bottom was stamped and hand cut. Here's a closer look at each tag:

And here is a link to the coordinating Make it Memorable dies. Please note that the coordinating dies are not part of the SOTM and will be available for purchase separately.
