Taylored Expressions January Spotlights: Day 1

Hello! Welcome to the Taylored Expressions January Spotlight Day 1! All new products can be found in the TE Store in the Fresh Out of the Oven Department, HERE!

Today, I have a few projects to show you and my post is picture-heavy, so I invite you to get settled in for a little bit! First, I have a card using the new Bless Your Nest stamp set and Bless Your Nest Dies.

I stamped and colored the large branch and leaves, then I die cut only a portion of it. I also stamped and colored the small nest, then I fussy cut it and popped it on top of my layout. I used the Bless Your Nest Dies to cut one of the birdies out of Robin's Egg felt. My sentiment is stamped onto the smallest of the Banner Stacklets 1 Dies.

Next is a set of 3 x 3 note cards using the new Tuck & Close Notecard Die. Taylor has also added 3x3 Notecard Envelopes to the store! I used four different images and sentiments from Valentine Doodles. I stamped and colored each image onto Choice Buttercream, die cut and matted with a Spellbinders circle, then stitched onto the Medium Layering Doily. I added the sentiments onto the smallest Banner Stacklets 1 Die. Here's a closer look at each card:

My final project is a little notebook that I made out of the Tuck & Close Notecard Die. As I was playing around with my notecard set above, I thought of a little matchbook, so I made a little notebook for Sabrina. She loves to doodle and write in little notebooks, so much so that we have little notebooks all over the house!

I added the Elton John quote to the front of the notebook (stamped onto and matted with the Banner Stacklets 1 Dies). I used the Love Letters Project Pantry for my mini notebook.

Here's a look at the back of the book. You can see the "tuck and close" portion of it. The die adds a little notch for the closure. For the inside of the notebook, I used Grid A la Carte and stamped a few sheets of copy paper, cut to size and stapled into the book.
