Hello and Happy Friday! Welcome to the Taylored Expressions October Spotlight Day! Everything that we have been previewing are now available in the TE Store! Here's a link to all new products (including some Summer CHA releases): Fresh Out of the OvenAs a special offer for World Cardmaking Day, all Card Kits and Project Pantry Kits (new and old) will be 15% off through Saturday. You will need a coupon code, so be sure to go to the specials page, HERE!

I have a couple of cards to show you today. They both use the Best Nests set and Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #168. Best Nests is a wonderful all-occasion set (I made one card, then decided to make another and would have made more but just ran out of time) that was designed by Nancy McKinney as part of her Whimsical Wishes collection. It features a sweet bird nest for every occasion! LOVE it!

I kept both cards fairly simple because I wanted the image to pop. My first card uses the Christmas/winter birdhouse. I colored it with Copic markers and added some Star Dust Stickles around for snow. I used the new Snowflake Border (negative cut) and added a Toffee Felt snowflake using the Make a Snowflake Die. I finished it off with some red burlap twine.

My second card uses the haunted birdhouse image. I pieced and colored the house, cut it out and popped it on top of my layout. I added a Black Licorice Felt spider using the Spiders & Spider Web die. I also used the Spiderweb Border and again used some jute twine.

Please visit the rest of the Baker's Dozen to see what they have cooked up for you today!
