This has been quite a fun-filled Birthday Bash week! I hope you have had as much fun as I have! I have one final card to show you. This one uses Up a Tree, the latest abode illustrated by Doug Applegate and part of his Apple Doodle Ink line. This set was concepted by Jami Sibley!


As I was making this card, my sewing machine broke. It actually ate most of my card base, so I had to start over. I ended up hand stitching around it as it looked naked without any stitching! I stamped, colored and cut out the sweet treehouse and created a little scene with the help of some patterned paper and dies.

  3. Very cool the way you cut out the treehouse and I love that you used that blue chevron paper for sky. Hand-stitching is really some dedication to the craft, girl!
