Hello! Welcome to Day 1 (of 3) of JustRite Stampers September release! We are introducing 3 cling sets that were previewed at Summer CHA in July. All sets work well together, so you may see some of the designers using images/sentiments from multiple sets. Today we are introducing CL-02185 Bon Voyage.
I started with a sheet of patterned paper that went well with the Paris theme, but I decided to tone it down a bit by adding some cream vellum over it and did some distressing. I stamped the element in the left corner and used one of the ornate labels to frame my simple sentiment. My label was die cut with Spellinders Labels Twenty Nestabilities.

ReplyDeleteThis is such a sweet card! I love your touch of lace. And I really love your idea of using vellum to tone down the brightness of the cardstock. It adds to the dreaminess of this card.

ReplyDeleteI think the vellum overlay is perfect to tone down the bolder print paper. This is classy and elegant with the big satin bow. :)
