Hello friends! I hope you are all doing well! Summer vacation is officially coming to a close for us. We just spent some family time at Glacier National Park in Montana, and Sabrina starts 2nd grade on Monday. Having said that, it may seem a little odd that I am posting a Christmas card in August, especially when our temps here are well over 100.. :) However, time seems to fly by, so my thinking is that before you know it, Christmas will be here, so it's never too early to get started on Christmas cards!

When I arrived home, a package of new JustRite stamps was waiting for me! The entire Christmas collection and August release is now available in the JustRite store. I was away when the designers showcased the new sets, so if you missed it, be sure to check the JustRite Inspiration blog for their fabulous samples! As well as releasing new stamps, JustRite is now carrying all colors of Tsukineko Memento ink pads.. my favorite ink  for coloring with Copic markers!

For my card, I stamped the birdie from JB-09795 Whimsical Christmas 2" three times with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored him with Copic markers. I pulled the non-traditional Christmas colors from Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses (Village) plaid patterned paper. I punched the birdies out with a 1 3/4" circle punch. I popped the center birdie onto one of the border sentiments from the same set. It reads "Christmas Time is Here.. Spread a Little Cheer". My layout is Taylored Expressions sketch #124. Here's a look at the finished inside of the card:

And a closer view of the sentiment:

Here's a complete look at the 2 sets I used on my card today. First up is JB-09795 Whimsical Christmas 2":

I love to add sentiments inside my cards -- it just gives the entire card a more finished and polished look. I used JB-09255 Christmas Nested Sentiments. It is full of wonderful sentiments for both the inside and outsides of your cards:
