MTME Killer Curves Card Sets
Hello! Today Lauren, Tracey and I are showing you some projects from the July My Time Made Easy © release! Lauren released three fabulous stamp sets this month. I used Tending the Garden © on my previous 2 projects this month, here and here. The second set is Lovely Labels ©, which I showed you last month here. My projects for today use the third set, Killer Curves © and a set released in April called Just for You ©.
Here is a look at Killer Curves © :
Sabrina's summer school will end next week, so I made sets of all-occasion cards for her teacher and 2 para aides. She had a smooth transition from the end of the regular school year to summer school, thanks in part to having the same teacher and one para aide from last summer. It also helped that she LOVED both of them, so she fell into an easy routine from day 1!
I love the color combo of green and lavender (in this case Couture Fallen Leaf and Fortune Teller), so I used this color scheme along with white as my neutral. I used the Killer Curves © cut file to make a frame and stamped the polka dot frame. I then cut another outer frame 105% larger so that I could pop the smaller frame onto it. Although I only used the polka dot frame, you have 2 other outer frames to choose from and also the smaller inside (if you don't want to make a frame cut out). I used all 4 images and paired them with Sara's coordinating digi papers (the 2 collections I used are Gardening Greats © Fortune Teller & Fallen Leaf (which includes a wonderful burlap print which is what I used as the 2nd layer on all cards) and Botanical Beauties © Fortune Teller & Fallen Leaf.
Even though I did add several layers, I only added ribbon as an embellishment since I wanted to keep these as mail-friendly as possible. I used my new favorite ribbon by May Arts - 1/2" wrinkled ribbon which I picked up at Limelight Papercrafts (thanks, Mandy!). The green one is the actual color and the lavender one was actually white until I ran my V12 Copic marker over it to create the color that I wanted.
Here's the final card to complete the set of 4:
Thanks so much for stopping by! I will be back tomorrow along with the entire MTME team to show final projects from the July release!
