MTME July Release Day!!!

Hello! Today is the My Time Made Easy © July release day! All the products that the team has been peeking are now available in the store HERE!! The entire team is showing cards today! Lauren released a couple of fun card cut files, and she asked us to showcase them. One is the Gardening Apron © Pretty Pieces cut file, which can be used as a card or tag. The second, which I am showing you, is called the Simple Seedling © Pretty Pieces cut file.

Wouldn't this make a fun, quick gift for a friend? Or you could even whip up several for shower favors! The cut file folds up to create this fun envelope that fits a seed packet perfectly. I have included a packet of heirloom seeds to grow flowers to attract hummingbirds and butterflies. Below you can see the scallop flap of the envelope.

I cut my envelope out of Couture Oat cardstock and decorated the front with a sheet of patterned paper from Webster's Pages matted onto Lily Pond cardstock. For my image, I used a flower from Tending the Garden ©. I stamped it and colored with Copic markers. I stamped a second flower and popped it on to of the base for some added dimension. "Seeds of Kindness" is also included in the same stamp set (for a total of 50 images/sentiments!). Here's a detail shot:

After a few quick folds, I used some red line tape to make my envelope. Also included with the envelope cut file is a tag that fits inside and the smaller rectangle in case you want to add it to the tag like I did below. I added a grommet and tied some simple twine through the top of the tag.

I added a strip of the same patterned paper (that I used to decorate the front of the envelope) to the bottom of the rectangle, some quick stitching and the sentiment, "For your kindness". I left the rest blank so that I can write a little note before I give this little gift away.

Please be sure to visit the rest of the MTME team today as they are also showing off some of their card creations... you definitely won't want to miss any of it!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
