Just Us Girls Color Challenge... JUGS25


Hello! It's time for another Just Us Girls Challenge! This week is a color challenge hosted by Lisa. She chose some soft and soothing colors (and isn't that image just the cutest?!).

Here's my creation:

I chose some coordinating papers from DCWV Nana's Nursery - Boy and used Kraft as my pale brown. My image is one of the new Sarah Kay releases, Zoe Gazing at the Butterfly. I stamped and colored this sweet image with Copic markers. I added buttons and pearls to embellish my big scallops. I tried to add some ribbon as well, but it didn't look quite right, so instead I added a Prima flower and tucked some punched leaves underneath.

This month has just flown by. I have only one week left as the March guest designer... sigh... I do hope you will play along with us this week!   8. Stephanie this is SO adorable - I want to go sit right next to Zoe. Your coloring is divine and that floral accent is perfect (yeah I agree better choice than ribbon). I love the big scallop punch you used and the buttons with pearls, too. You are doing such great work with us as our featured designer - so glad to have you on board this month.   11. Stephanie - this is wonderful!! Reminds me of "old school" Holly Hobbie :) is terrific paired up with that plaid and polka dotted papers...and all of that stitching... makes me smile from ear to ear!

  12. Well that image is perfect for these soft, Spring colors! I LOVE the triple scallops on the bottom! Such a great way to finish off the card! I cannot believe there is only one more week to your guest designer stint...where DID the time go? Great card and I love the way you used the colors!
