Good morning! I used Amber's Viva La Verve, VLVJul02 sketch, for my card today. The "twist" was to use a technique -- either Poppin' Pastels or Burned Batik. I opted to use the latter technique with Verve's Kindred Spirits and created my own patterned paper. I had the hardest time with stamping my image as I couldn't see where I had last stamped (so please excuse the "non-conformity" of the pattern -- then, I realized if I sprinkled the embossing powder on the top row before I stamped the next row, then I could see better -- better late than never I guess! I didn't want to cover my new pp entirely, so I finished my card off with organdy ribbon so that you can stil see through it a bit.
Thanks for stopping by!
