Back Home

Good morning! Yesterday was the last of my pre-scheduled artwork posts. I didn't stamp at all while we were gone. We were too busy enjoying time with family and friends. It was beautiful in MN, mostly 75-80 degrees with very little humidity. We made it back home in time for excessive heat warnings -- today is supposed to be 111... :(

Since it was just Sabrina and me, I left my "big camera" (digital SLR) at home since I didn't really have room for another carry-on (i.e. DH wasn't there to carry my heavy camera equipment!). Surprisingly, my point-and-shoot did alright. These are a few photos from our trip. We spent 4 days camping on a lake, and a lakefront sunset just doesn't get any better than this. I cropped and sharpened in Photoshop, but other than that I did no photo editing. It really was this gorgeous!

I've got a handful of projects to complete before we leave on our family vacation late this week (we're heading to OR, where I hope it is a little cooler!). I'll be back tomorrow with my TSC {The Scrapbooking Cottage} Wednesday card.

I hope you have a wonderful week! Thanks for stopping by!

  1. What gorgeous pics! Have fun in my home state, but it's been in the lower 100's there.
