CD Photo Cube

I didn't get a card made yesterday, but I do have a new project to share. This photo cube was made out of 4 CD cases. I ran across the tutorial here and thought this was such a clever little project! You can showcase 4 small layouts inside CD cases and just by popping off each cover and turning it over, you can actually connect all 4 cases together to form a box. If that sounds complicated, it really isn't! The box sits inside a cardstock base for stability. I haven't figured out what I'm going to put inside this yet, but how cute would this be sitting on your desk at work? This was a little hard to photograph because I kept getting glare from the cases, but I think this gives you a general idea of the finished product. The top is open, so it's basically a 6"x6" box with no lid. I was so excited to try this out, but I didn't glue my cases together yet in case I decide to add more to the individual layouts (nothing too bulky otw it wouldn't fit in the case).

Cardstock: CTMH; Patterned paper: Basic Grey; Other: Rub ons, Ribbon (reasonableribbon.com), Eyelets, Crop-a-dile tool, 4 empty CD cases.
