This is my card for Julee's Mojo Monday #57. Yes, I know it's Saturday! I'm not sure where the week went. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month and this card is in honor of my girlfriend, Lori, who was diagnosed with breast cancer 8 years ago. We had both just moved to Arizona from other states and were living in the same apartment complex temporarily (waiting to move into new homes in the same development). As you can imagine, it was a tough time for her and know this is a tough time of the year for her (she was diagnosed around Halloween). As happens all too often, we all are busy with everyday life, so we don't get to see Lori or her family all that often, so I thought I'd send her this card to let her that I think of my dear friend often.
Have you had your annual mammogram and/or done a self-check recently?
I hope you're having a great weekend! I'm hoping to get some stamping time in and do some of the weekend sketch challenges.
