Taylored Expressions June Sneak Peeks Day 1

Hello! Welcome to the first day of Taylored Expressions June Sneak Peeks! The Baker's Dozen is kicking off 4 days of projects (3 days of peeks and release day). All products will be released on Thursday, June 4 @ 7 AM PST.

I had fun making this little fishing boat scene! I combined a few new dies (Build a Scene - Rolling Waves and Little Bits - Fishing Boat) with a few previously released dies ( Build a Scene - Rolling Clouds and Little Bits - Sun and Clouds). I created my sky by lightly sponging Tumbled Glass distress ink onto Sugar Cube cardstock. Before I die cut the waves, I sprinkled some Ultramarine Blue Color Burst powder onto watercolor cardstock, spritzed with water, then used my heat gun to spread the color and dry the cardstock.

Since I made this for a dear friend whose birthday was a couple of weeks ago, I used a sentiment from Oh, Carp! The sentiment was stamped onto Sugar Cube cardstock and die cut with the double ended banner flag die from Pockets & Pages - Stitched Essentials. To finish the card off, I added a few sequins from the Rainbow Brights Sequin collection. Here's a detail shot:
