Peeking In

Hello there! Happy Monday! For my project today, I was challenged to peruse the Taylored Expressions Pinterest boards, find a project and draw inspiration from it. I chose Shelly's gorgeous butterfly shaker card (below). I love the way she uses water space and creates cards that look simple, yet are so well put together that they just pop.

Here's my take:

I wanted to have a nice crisp white background, but I wanted a little texture, so I embossed it with the Zig Zag Embossing Folder, hands down my favorite TE embossing folder so far! One of my dear friends recently said goodbye to her kitty of nearly 20 years, so I made this for her to let her know that I'm thinking about her. I used the Peeking In petite set with coordinating dies, stamping, coloring and die cutting the kitty. I used Instant Photo Frames and popped the kitty up with foam tape. Here's a detail shot:

Thanks so much for stopping by!
