Back to School

Hello! It's been awhile since I last posted. We enjoyed our last couple of weeks of summer vacation and as the title of this post indicates, it's back to school week for us. I have a little card for that very occasion.

My card uses the Pockets & Pages - 3x4 Circle Showcase Die and one of the newest Little Bits dies. This one is Little Bits - Schoolhouse. The circle showcase die is perfectly sized for pocket scrapbooking, but it's also great to add to a card front along with the smaller sized dies! Here's a detail shot:

I didn't use patterned paper today since I wanted to keep this simple and use some chevron ribbon and a trio of wood veneer stars (one of my fave embellishments!).

Before I go, here's a photo of my (enter BIG sigh here) 6th grader who just started middle school... so far she's loving it!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by!
