Taylored Expressions October Studio Challenge

Hello! It's time for the October Taylored Expressions Baker's Dozen Studio Challenge. This is a monthly opportunity for us to share what makes our stamping studios hum. Each month we have a fun, crafty question so we can share our favorites, some tips and tricks, stamping advice and more. This is our final studio challenge, so I hope you enjoy it!

The theme for October is: Never Felt Better!!
Felt is all the rage in crafting. It's so thick and soft and gives that special warm and cozy feeling to fall and winter projects. TE has 21 yummy colors to choose from, but do you ever just stare at all that felt and think, "Hmmmm...what should I do with it?" Designers, show us a fun  project featuring felt.

I used felt and the Tag Pocket die to create just that... a tag pocket to hold a tag and a gift card.

Last week was Parent/Teacher conference week at school, and I made these for Sabrina's teachers and aide. As I mentioned above, I used the Tag Pocket die to create my pocket out of Toffee felt. I stitched up the edges of both to make sure they stay together. I also used the Mix & Match Bows to decorate the front of the pocket. The bow is cut out of Cranberry felt. I used a hot glue gun to assemble the bow and also to attach it to my pocket.

I stamped and colored the tree image from Love Grows Here, one of my all time favorite stamps in the TE collection! I used Tag Stacklets 1 to die cut the tag (which I think could also be used as a bookmark since it is one layer). I added an eyelet and some twine to finish off the tag. I'm also including a Starbucks gift card along with the tag. Here's a look at all 3 gifts:
