SCRSC70 -- Birthday Wishes

Welcome to week 2 of the first Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge of 2012! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and your new year is off to a great start! The current challenge (SCRSC70) is to use something new.

Since we switched up our challenges to be bi-weekly, I now post on the 2nd week of the challenge. Because of this, I didn't get a chance to welcome our new team members (I've updated my sidebar with the complete team) or our January guest designer, Debbie Carriere! If you aren't already familiar with Debbie's work, you are in for a real treat!

I'm back with another birthday card. This one is for Sabrina's PE teacher, Mrs. Douglass. Her birthday is this Friday, the 13th! My something(s) new are a couple of items that I hadn't used yet -- patterned paper (October Afternoon Farmhouse), ribbon (May Arts) and Die-namics Mini Pennant and Mini Wavy Pennants (My Favorite Things).

I used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #149 for my layout. We happen to be sponsoring this challenge, so you can combine both challenges (SCRSC70 and SSSC149) for two chances to win some Sparkle Creations stamps. Please be sure to add your link to the SCRS blog here and the Sweet Sunday Sketch blog here.

For more SCRS inspiration and details, please visit the SCRS blog to see the design team's wonderful creations and their individual blogs for more details:

I'll be back in a couple of days with the first SCRS January preview! Thanks so much for stopping by!
