SCRS Challenge #18 -- Gift Card Challenge

Hello! It's time another Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge! Thanks to all of you who played along last week! Each week we will post an all new challenge at this time (9 PM PST on Mondays). For all the details, please visit the SCRS blog. This week is a gift card challenge.

I was inspired by Charmaine's envelope gift card holder. She made one here and also shared a wonderful video tutorial here. It's such a clever little gift card holder that uses the mechanics of a standard A2 envelope to create a natural pocket for a gift card. I added the image of Holiday Emily (sort of a combination tent card / envelope gift card holder).

Below is a look at it open. The left hand photo shows it as it would appear when you first open it. To reveal the gift card, just open the flap that the snowflake is holding down (right hand photo). It's hard to tell in the photo, but I stitched the patterned paper for the pocket on the bottom. I thought that it was such a clever little gift card holder that you can embellish as much or as little as you'd like. Thanks for the inspiration and tutorial, Charmaine!

For more inspiration, please visit the SCRS blog to see the design team's wonderful creations or their individual blogs for more details: Kim, Laurel, Lisa, Simonne, Sparkle and Mercy, our wonderful November guest designer! This is also release week for Sparkle Creations! Sparkle will be releasing 2 brand new images on Saturday. Sneak peeks begin on Friday @ midnight EST.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
