One Person -- PDCC35

Hello! It's time for another Play Date Cafe challenge! Sarah has chosen the fabulous rustic inspiration photo (above) and the colors Brown, Turquoise, Red and Orange this week.

Please welcome our celebrity guest designer, Lucy Abrams!

Your challenge host this week is Sue!

I used some coordinating papers from the Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg line for my card this week. I embossed my quote with chocolate embossing powder to make it stand out more. It is from Verve's One Person.. it reads, "To the world you may be just one person, But to one person, you may be the world". I cut it out with circle Nestabilities and matted on top another circle, then I put the entire quote panel on top a doily that I got from Sarah Martina Parker's Etsy shop here (thanks, Sarah!). I had been looking for some doilies, but after driving around town and finding none, I gave up and searched online. She was so fast with shipping and they are exactly what I was looking for! The doily was white, but I inked it up with some Walnut Stain distress ink.

Are you ready to play along? We'd love to see your creations! Be sure to go over to the Cafe and link your post. If you use an online gallery, please use the keyword PDCC35. And, be sure to visit my PDCC teammates for some wonderful inspiration.
