MTME Final June Group Post

Hello! Have you checked out all of the My Time Made Easy © June releases? Lauren outdid herself once again this month with all the fabulous new goodies and our team has been showing off some wonderful projects to give you some creative inspiration. Today, our entire team is showing our final release projects!

For my first project, I am using the Tea Tabbed Box © template. It comes with 2 different fronts, one with a cut out for tea bags (or other goodies) and one with a solid front.

I made this with the solid front, to show the versatility of this template. I filled my box with some Yummy Earth organic lollipops (see below for a look at the inside)! The base of the box is made from Couture Apple Jack cardstock. The patterned paper is from the DCWV Sweet paper stack.

For the tag, I stamped one of the frames from Killer Curves: Fancy Frames ©. The sentiment "A special treat for you to eat" is from Lunch Box Love Notes ©. Here's a close-up:

I decorated the top with a flower that I made out of chiffon and organdy fabric. I cut out the layers of fabric with Spellbinders Blossom Nestabilities, then I carefully burned the edges of the flower from a flame of a lit candle. I staggered the layers together, secured them with a small brad and added a few fresh water pearls in the center to cover the brad. Finally, I sprayed the flower with various colors of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. The leaves are from a green Prima flower which I cut up.

My second project (below) turned into a bigger project than I had intended. I first made the Tea Tabbed Box © to hold some tea bags, then I decided to go a step further and make another teapot with the Tea For You © template and a Time for Tea Bag © to go with the ensemble.

For once, I made this for myself! I thought this would look so cute sitting out on my counter. Everything is cut out of Couture Sprinkle cardstock and decorated with a patterned paper from DCWV Nana's Kitchen stack. This one has the front cut out for the tea bags (in my case, some of my favorite Good Earth Sweet & Spicy Red Tea).

I decorated the top of the box with a cut out of the tea cup from A Spot of Tea ©. I sprinkled some gold embossing powder and heat embossed it to look like an elegant piece of china. I also added a few of the tea cup building elements to decorate the cup.

Here's a look at the matching tea pot. I loved Pam's idea of filling it with "get well" goodies and I thought this is a great place to store some throat lozenges that I seem to constantly be in need of.

I used the rectangle label from the same tea stamp set to make a matching label:

The final item in the ensemble uses the Time for Tea Bag © to create a small holder for a couple of tea bags. This would make cute little favors for a tea themed bridal or baby shower. I used the round tag to create a simple tag to finish off the tea holder.

Please be sure to visit the rest of the MTME team today as they are also showing off their final creations... you definitely won't want to miss any of it!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
