TSC Wednesday... and Happy Birthday, Dan!

Good morning! It's time for the first TSC {The Scrapbooking Cottage} Wednesday of 2010! Today, Stacy and I are featuring the new Bo Bunny Love Bandit line. Be sure to check it her inspirational creation as well as to see all the great new products in the store... HERE!

It's also my DH, Dan's birthday today (Happy Birthday, Sweetie!!), so I made this card for Sabrina to give to her Daddy. I used Just Us Girl's Challenge #14 which is this fun sketch. First I chose a couple of the fun Love Bandit patterned papers and that were cute, but not too girly, then I decided there was no way that the card was going to be masculine, so I stopped trying!

For my image, I used Lily & Billy Sweethearts and colored Lily to look like Sabrina, holding a glittered "Luv You" sign. I added a strip of lace handmade by my SIL, Mary (Dan's sister)! I've been hoarding these for a little while, but I thought that she wouldn't mind seeing me use one every now and again!! Finally, I added some crazy stitching around the base ~ I love the look, but my machine always jams when I do that (it's like it's telling me that I'm not supposed to sew like that!).

I hope you're having a great week! Thanks so much for stopping by!
