Stained Glass Poinsettia

I just loved Julee's Mojo Monday #61 sketch! I will definitely use this one again and again. When I sat down to work on it, I also wanted to try out Beate's Sparkly Stained Glass technique. Her tutorial can be found here.

I stamped the poinsettia from Verve's Poinsettia Christmas with black Staz-on on a piece of acetate. I then followed Beate's tutorial to add various colors of glitter to my flower, then I let it dry for a few hours. I especially love how you turn the acetate around so that the glitter side is on the back (it isn't exposed, so it is less messy) and it really does look like stained glass!
