Peace, Love & Cupcakes - WSC64

It's time for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge! Can you believe that it's Nov. 1st already? I, for one, am not ready for the holidays, but I know they are around the corner, ready or not. I've been making a few Christmas cards here and there (while also working on my pile of cards to send out to friends and family). I've decided that while mass producing is a great timesaver, it can get a little boring at times (for me, the card maker). Who says that I have to make the same card and send it out to everyone on my Christmas list? I think maybe I'll make one here and there and add them to my stash.

Here's one using a couple of new supplies. While at Wal-mart picking up my groceries, I came across new Martha Stewart holiday goodies -- stamps, patterned paper AND lots and LOTS of glitter! I've used her patterned paper here. It's hard to tell, but the red rick rack is glittery in real life. I also just received my new Stamp a Sweet Impression stamps from Taylor and couldn't wait to ink up the cute cupcakes!

Cardstock: PTI, CTMH; Patterned paper: Martha Stewart Frosty Gingerbread paper pad; Stamps: Stamp a Sweet Impression; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Cuttlebug embossing folder; Nestabilities Labels One; SU! word window punch; Fiskars scalloped scissors; Copic markers; Other: brad, white gel pen, Star Dust stickles, white velvet scalloped ribbon (reasonable ribbon.com), foam tape.
