Warm Wishes - Mojo Madness #56

Julee was back this week (yea!) with her Mojo Monday sketch. This week I sort of struggled with my mojo. Since starting this blog, I have tried to challenge myself each week with various online challenges to try to improve my stamping and overall final product. What I've realized is that even if I stamp everyday (which is not the norm), there are some days when I'm just not feeling it. And, it doesn't help when I try to force it. Anyway, on to my Mojo card... I loved the sketch and immediately thought of the new MFT set, A Scarf for Three. It is such a cute stamp and I love snowmen! I had inked it up right after I got it, but I had yet to color it in. I chose some great glitter paper and embossed glitter paper from my DCWV Winter stack and then colored my image. The final embellishment that I wanted to add was a Heidi Swapp ghost snowflake, but I haven't been able to find these anywhere! I used to see them all over when I wasn't looking for them (isn't that always the case?). So, I improvised and used my Martha Stewart snowflake punch and a piece of acetate. Worked like a charm! Here's my card and a detail shot:

Cardstock: CTMH, Patterned Paper: DCWV Glittered Winter stack; Stamps: MFT; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Copic markers; Cuttlebug embossing folder; Spellbinders Nestabilities and Ribbon Tags; Punches: Fiskars, Martha Stewart; Other: ribbon, acetate, rhinestone.
