OCC - Handmade for the Holidays

This week's OCC challenge is to make a handmade gift. I decided to try out on of Lauren's For Keep{sake} template, available from http://www.papertreyink.com/. It was the first time I tried out the template, and it was so easy to use. All you do is print the template out on your cardstock and cut/score and assemble your box. So simple! She even includes a document with some great design ideas!

I made this gift box for our wonderful sitter, Judy, and filled it with Lindt truffles (I managed to fit 25 truffles inside!). I was a little pressed for time with this one, so I kept it pretty simple and didn't do a lot of stamping. The possibilities are endless as to what to fill it with or decorating it.
Cardstock: CTMH; Stamps: Verve; Spellbinders double ended tag; Martha Stewart butterfly punch; Star Dust stickles; Other: acetate, ribbon (reasonableribbon.com), red line tape (confessionsofaribbonaddict.blogspot.com).
